An Update from April–Be there Sat!

Hello Specktaculars!

The Plainfield Palooza FUNdraiser was Specktacular fun and a great fundraising success as well. The Specktacular Team raised over $1,000 at Saturday’s music festival, bringing our grand total near $10,000 so far. Good job, team!

Special thanks to John Daily, Dustin Scroggins, Amy Sugimoto, Laddie Watson, Ashley, Nate, and Bernie for all your many hours of work with the set-up, clean-up, and donation collections; Big huge thanks to Linda Duval for organizing, sourcing, and transporting sound equipment, among other things. Thank you, Cathy Speck, for your leadership, organization, and proactivity and for teaching us about event planning. And, of course, thanks to Plainfield Palooza’s enthusiastic  producer, Jae Templeton. Thanks to those of you who attended and who were there in spirit. You’re all specktacular!

The Walk to Defeat ALS is this Saturday! Please plan to arrive by 9:30 if you want to see Cathy and Linda perform.
